| The company presently has 7 directors
and a staff complement of 38. The firm has followed employment equity
principles since the early 1980's [our first black professional
assistant was employed in 1987.
In 2005 two black Candidate Attorneys who were previously disadvantaged
individuals qualified as attorneys and have entered into their own
business ventures. The firm's bond registrations department is managed
by Mrs Prishila Ramsangar, who was appointed in 1995 and who has
received various service excellence awards from corporate institutions.
Mrs. Beena Ramsangar, also a previously disadvantaged individual
who joined us in 1987, has grown from a clerical position to the
firm's financial and office manager. |

The company has also employed a continuous legal
training program for all its attorneys, secretaries, paralegals
and assistants to ensure that the firm's degree of service excellence
is maintained. At present 60% of the company's staff (excluding
directors and professional assistants) are historically disadvantaged
individuals ("HDI's"), 35.14% of non-professional management
staff are HDI's and 100% are female.
A certificate that complies with the Department of Trade and Industry
Code of Good Practice can be supplied on request.
Staff members from previously disadvantaged communities hold positions
ranging from management to clerical. Lillian Baqwa, one of our directors
is a previously disadvantaged individual. The firm is also associated
with Venn Nemeth & Hart Attorneys, of Pietermaritzburg, who
received the 2003/04 Impumelelo Award as one of South Africa's Top
300 Empowerment Companies. We are proud to be associated with them.
